Located on a quiet residential street with free parking The Acer Guest House is only minutes walk from York city, the racecourse and the station. We are within a short walking distance of the Racecourse Grandstand, The Royal York Hotel, The Marriott, The Park Inn and several other conference venues. York Minster, Jorvik Viking Centre, York Castle Museum, the Grand Opera House, the Barbican, the Theatre Royal and the river Ouse are only a short stroll away. Guests are welcome to leave a car parked here at The Acer Guest House after check out ( just ask me at check out for a parking permit and save yourself a day's parking fee!).

All of the Guest House's bedrooms are en suite, newly refurbished and at breakfast I am delighted to cater for all diets (I can also prepare cooked breakfasts using Halal products if required). Why not request that our award winning breakfast be served in the privacy of your own bed room?

Our refurbishment has recently been completed and the guest house looks absolutely gorgeous. The chintz is gone (as has the scaffold) to be replaced by luxurious silks, sturdy oak furniture, lucious lighting and state of the art televisions.
